The authority, antitrust Polish (UOKiK) has a set amount from 31.85 million zloti (around 7.2 million) of Amazon to implement some of the practices, deceptive trade, some of which were considered the “dark pattern”. The fine is the result of an investigation that started in February, 2023.
The information is false about the availability of the product
One of the practices are considered deceptive is concerned with the relationship of the contract of sale. Some of the consumers purchase of the products on the platform Amazon.pl but did not receive anything for the company in Seattle and cancelled the order.
