He's the man in the growth of Silicon Valley. At the age of 39 years old, Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI, is at the head of a company that has been established to as a power plant, the power of artificial intelligence thanks to the chatbot, it is already well-known to HIM ChatGPT, be able to write a text, correct the errors, and much more. As well as all of the people in the high-profile, it is called a regular advice about their careers.
Sam Altman, just a word of advice for career success: trust yourself
I interviewed on this topic on the podcast to Bill Gates, Unconfuse Me, and he shared some of the beliefs. SamAltman suggests, tell your colleagues and managers what they think, live, and even though it is often difficult to:
“To be very clear about what you want to do, and you ask others that what you want is a process, it is strange that, of course. A lot of people fall into the trap, and did not spend time as well as they would like. The advice I give most often is probably trying to do something in one way or another.”
In fact, we often expect our applications to be rejected, and even if sometimes this is the case, we are inclined to nënvlerësojmë the willingness of others to help us.
It is not the first time that the CEO of OpenAI will address this point. In a post on the blog titled, “How to have success,” he warned, in the year of 2019, when he was still the head of Y Combinator):
“When people set aside their suspicions, and they go straight for what they want, and they do have a great ability to make things happen. Ask them what they want. It usually is not going to get, and a refusal would often be painful. But when it works, it works surprisingly well.
The similarity with Steve Jobs
What is interesting is that the position of the Sam Altman, is remarkably similar to that of Steve Jobs. In 1994, the cofounder of Apple explained: “the One thing that I have always seen to be very true is that most people are shut out of the experience, because they do not seek out ever with them. I have not found it, never, never someone who will help me when I asked for help.
He went on to say: “You have to be willing to fail, regardless of whether or not they are the people on the phone, whether it is starting a business or whatever. If you have a fear that they don't fail, they will not get away.”
